Upgrading Motherboard, CPU, and GPU soon and have some questions. gaming computer builder

In a week or so I'm preparing to upgrade those three components, and I have some questions about the upgrade. I'm using Windows 10 from the free upgrade and I have two hard drives, C being the boot disk. If it helps, I'm currently running an old cheap MSI motherboard which I am missing the name of as I'm not near my computer right now, an AMD fx-8310 CPU and a GTX 1060. I'm upgrading to an ASUS PRIME X370-a motherboard, an AMD Ryzen 5 1600x CPU, and a GTX 1080.

From what I've gathered so far, I am going to need to do a few things. Tie my Microsoft account to my copy of Windows 10 so I can reactivate it after the upgrade, Uninstall every driver that has anything to do with my current motherboard, CPU, and maybe graphics in the device manager, And after physically replacing everything, hooking back up my hard drives and booting, reactivating Windows 10 using my account whenever it asks me to.

This is my first PC build and my first time upgrading a major component like the motherboard or CPU so I don't really know how I should go about doing It, and every other guide I've found online are very complicated and contradicting and a lot of them tell me different things. Is there anything I'm missing or possibly doing wrong?
