I get 8ms ping, 72.45Mbps download and 17.20Mbps upload using the speedtest site. My router is downstairs and i use my pc upstairs, but i use an ethernet powerline adapter in my room connected with an ethernet cable to my pc and one downstairs to the router. My problem just started today that my ping in multiplayer games like bf1 jumps from 20ms to 30,70,100 and then back to 20ms which makes me lag a lot but then other times when it sticks to 20ms and 30ms it still lags. Other games like Overwatch sometimes the ping stays at 70 or 30ms but still lags. Im very confused.... is it something to do with the powerline adapter or what even though speedtest shows that my internet is really good. Can someone help me please!
