Is there a way to test if the southbridge on my motherboard is dead, or if anyone can guess whether it is?
To make a long story short, my computer is registering that there is a usb microphone plugged into it, but none of them register any semblance of sound. I've checked multiple times to see if they are muted (Which they weren't), checked multiple different usb ports, as well as checked them in another device (Which they work in).
