What companies have big back-to-school and flash sales for laptops? gaming computer builder

I'm looking to buy a new laptop for high school. There are a lot of very similar laptops in my price range, and I keep on eyeing better and more premium devices that I just can't afford. How much do companies like Dell, HP, Asus, and Lenovo usually mark off their higher-priced laptops (> $1000) for back-to-school sales, weekly deals, and other sales as well? Also, for back-to-school sales, do you need to be a registered student in college to get the savings, or can you be a high schooler? Thank you!
