Need help selecting a cloud (online storage) service :( gaming computer builder

Hi; I have been trying for 2 days now to figure out which cloud service is best for me (easy to use and reliable) and I've never felt so frustrated and angry as I do now. All I want is a cloud service that allows me to select files (no matter their sizes) then upload them so that I can retrieve them later.

From the first few searches I did Dropbox kept coming up as an easy and simple to use. It's not; it really is garbage. Their web allows only really small size files, and the app requires you to move all your files to their box which ruins my shortcuts. I sadly made the mistake of signing in for a full year subscription, and now I just hate myself.

Next, was yesterday when I tried onedrive since I already have an outlook (formerly hotmail) account an I happen to have a new office 365. At first it looked good, but then I noticed many of the sub-folders weren't being copied. I was using the online (web) version.

So now my question is what to do next? Dropbox customer support replied with an email that was mostly gibberish for me to understand. Microsoft also replied with just more questions. I replied to both but I have little to no hope that I'll get a good answer from either.

What cloud service would you suggest that can handle big files (200-500 GB)? Something that doesn't play around with my laptop or system? Something you'd recommend to your tech illiterate grandparent?
