Hello,
I have noticed my girlfriends PC having faster loading times than mine (CSGO is a good example since we load in at the same time) which I think is odd since I have the "better" PC. The only thing I can think of that might be slower in my setup would be the RAM, could this be the culprit? I know I'm being a little nit picky since my PC is plenty fast, I just feel a bit let down when the PC I built myself loses from her Pre-built one with weaker components.
My specs: (which I think are relevant)
-Gigabyte Aorus gaming k5 Motherboard - I7 7700K (stock) -EVGA GTX 1080 FTW (stock) - Crucial 16 GB 2133 -SSD 1 (windows) Samsung EVO 850 120GB -SSD 2 (games) Samsung EVO 860 500GB (her games are on her windows SSD, Could this make a difference?)
Her Specs:
-AsRock z170 Pro4S - I7 6700K (stock) -KFA2 (GALAX in US) GTX 1070 EXOC (stock) -Crucial Ballistix Sport 2400Mhz -Crucial BX 240Gb (windows and CSGO)
I will upgrade my RAM at some point, I just had these sticks laying around and I am still looking for some good looking RAM to finish my build.
I know my PC isn't insanely more powerful than hers but this isn't a matter of 1 or 2 seconds. She loads in like 5-10 seconds faster than me. Again, I'm being nit picky.
Thanks for any suggestions/solutions :)
