Alienware laptop - boot from external hard drive gaming computer builder

I got an alienware laptop with ssd (providing the types of drives just to distinguish between them) changing from a desktop. I had a regular sata hdd with windows 10 installed on it and it was a main drive for the desktop. I have some very essential software installed on that hd which I cannot get hold of the installers anymore so I'm determined to get the os installed on hd booted. Anyway the issue now seems to be as follows - so I plugged the other drive in from the hard drive caddy via USB, it works nicely as just another hard drive while system loads up from the in built ssd. Now I have googled the problem and it tells to enable legacy boot but there doesn't seem to be any option for it on bios? The bios itself looks there are very few options - bios screenshots
