TL;DR: HDD is making a lot of noise, took a video, and need suggestions on what to do next please.
Hello there, before I get into the problem I am having I would just like to say that I have a basic understanding of computers, and if I do not understand how to do something, or the issue is really obvious then I apologise in advance.
So recently my computer has been starting to run slowly, I bought it in July 2013 and haven't upgraded anything or even touched anything inside it aside from cleaning it of dust.
The problem started a few weeks ago when my computer just started stuttering while I was watching a YouTube video and crashed completely, requiring a hard reset. I googled the issue in Safe Mode as it was the only mode that wouldn't crash completely, and eventually after 4 hours of diagnostics I ran a disk check when restarting and it seemed to have fixed the problem.
However it hasn't been working 100% the same. Games I play are running at lower fps than normal and keep freezing occasionally, and sometimes the audio stutters for a second. My computer also makes a lot of noise now, even when idle with nothing plugged in (I bought it custom built, I didn't build it myself).
I have came to the conclusion that the HDD is making the noise based on the video I took, but I have no idea on what to do or how to fix it. I assume I would have to replace it. But how much would that cost roughly? Here is the video for reference: https://youtu.be/tu0DvfGwUmM
I will post my computer specs once I have it set back up. I appreciate any help or suggestions in advance!
