So the other day I went to open my laptop and it was frozen, upon rebooting it I got a message saying there wasn't a hard drive installed. I could also here this clicking noise. I have a crappy feeling the hard drive short circuited and now it's a brick. I had all my school work, photos, and almost a tb of music production software and songs that I desperately want. If I buy a new hard drive, is it possible to recover the data onto the new one? Or is all my data lost forever?
