24GB RAM on windows and ubuntu gaming computer builder

I've recently upgraded my RAM to 24GB, I've been wondering if there's anything that could be done to make Windows and Ubuntu use more of it.

If there's any developer on this reddit, then what should I do to improve kernel build times under Ubuntu?
