I was having some wireless adapter driver issues with my own personal computer and long story short since I didnt have internet on my PC I downloaded the drivers I needed and also a GitHub version of the drivers on a friends PC. But then I read to use GitHub packages you need a tool to basically put it together called RTools. So I downloaded RTools34 from a legit source and I cant even open it but thats not the larger issue Im also unable to delete or move it at all on the desktop. I also try to right click the file and the desktop freezes even causing the screen to go black and blank out for 3-4 seconds. This is concerning. But at least other than that his computer is working fine.
My buddys PC is a Windows 10 machine. Pretty sure its x64. He doesnt even notice about the file because he isnt super tech savy but I feel bad I normally will move files I need to a flash drive or if I decide not to use them I delete them afterwards.
I was thinking maybe I could use a program such as Unlocker which allows you to forcefully delete any file.
Would appreciate the help here if anybody has an idea on how I may be able to remove the RTools exe from my friends PC.
