Hi all
I'm writing a report for a business class and I was wondering if I could get some feedback on an idea I have. Please ignore the realistic feasibility of this idea. I just want to know if y'all would use something like this and if there are any blatantly obvious useful features I am omitting.
This would be a desktop application for managing one's computer hardware. The application would allow for CPU and GPU overclocking, would give the user temperature feedback on their componentry, and provide warnings about unsafe hardware settings that are likely to fry circuits and melt hardware. What would be unique about this would be that it would support hardware from a wide array of manufacturers, and you of course wouldn't have to go through the BIOS. Imagine MSI Afterburner with more support.
Thanks in advance and I would like to stress that I'm perfectly aware of the technical and security-oriented problems with this. I'm looking at this from a business feasibility standpoint.
