7.1 audio patch gaming computer builder

Say I connected my PC to the 7.1 onkyo receiver I have. Now I want all 5.1 audio stuff to be played back at the 5.1 setup that I have in my living room around the main TV and also, patch other stereo content like YouTube videos or spotify music to the remaining 2 speakers that are positioned at my working desk.

Is it possible to patch windows audio like that?
