I've had my computer for a few years. Bought a pre-built that was cheap, then upgraded a few parts. Most of the computer is a few years old. Only about 6 months ago, I installed a new GTX 1060 3GB. As of a few weeks ago though, it's started to slow down. It seems like it would be a GPU issue, but I think it could also be the CPU. I have a CPU Usage monitor that I look at sometimes (CPU is an I5-4460 3.2GHz Quad Core), and it often peaks. All four cores at 100%. This especially tends to happen when playing games. Games such as Rainbow 6 Siege (on medium-low) give me FPS in the mid-100's, with an occasional drop down into single digits whenever something happens. It's unplayable at any graphics settings above medium-low. Even at medium-low all four cores are constantly at 100%. Then there's games like GTA 5 which have all four cores at a steady 70ish%, but FPS drops to 0 rather often and for multiple seconds at a time. This is at low graphics settings. I wasn't really sure if I should put this in gaming or in computers, so it's in both. Thanks!
