2 Graphics Cards in Laptop Questions gaming computer builder

Ill make this quick Specs : Dell Inspiron 3542 Core i7 And something ive learnt is that is has 2 gpus 1. Intel HD 5500 Graphics 2.Nvidia Geoforce 840m While playing games i noticed that you can only use 1 gpu at a time. Is there any way to use both GPUs at the same time and harness bother their GPU power while gaming. Plz Respond
