My laptop is an old Lenovo G450 if that will help. Anyway, it happened after I added all of my music files to itunes and that was a crapload of music. After adding all the music, the conputer started acting incredibly sluggish. It froze every 30 seconds - 1min and eventually, I got impatient and did an unsafe shutdown (or just pressed the power button until it died). I tried to turn it on and it said something about "Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. To fix.... 1.Insert windows install disc 2.choose language 3. Click repair.... And one of the options is to start windows from last known good config. (advanced). I chose every option and it goes into the swirly windows startup screen and it goes black then the blue screen appears for a split second and then it goes back to the Lenovo startup screen and the cycle starts all over again. I'm not really a rich person so I'm hoping if it can still be fixed since the thing has around 7 years of my life with it.
