So I'm currently deciding between MainGear and Origin for getting a custom desktop. I originally wanted to spend around $1000, but I'm enticed by the liquid cooling, overclocking, and VR. I'm planning on using this computer for animating, video editing, and gaming. They both allow financing where Origins is about $100 a month for a $2500 build and MainGear is about $30 a month for a $2300ish build. I'm at a crossroads here because MainGear is offering a free 3 year warranty currently and I would prefer the lower monthly payment for now until I can save more money. I bought myself a Wacom Cintiq recently and am going to buy a Canon 70D and Rode NT1K soon among other things. I looked up all of the individual parts and it's about $200 difference from building it myself. Is it worth it?
