My games are using the wrong graphics cards. gaming computer builder

So I am not very tech savy. I have a GeForce GTX 980 and a Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-6600k CPU @3.50GHz and 16GB Ram. So basically the problem is instead of my games using the GTX 980 they are using the Intel Core instead and I am suffering from low FPS in my games as a result. Is there a way I can change my computer from using intel and instead use my GTX in the control panel or some other way.

-Side note I also have the lastest graphics drive update. Thanks.
