Help with video editing trouble gaming computer builder

I have a EVGA GT 640, AMD Black Edition FX‑8320, 12 GB of RAM and am having trouble with video editing software. I'm also not sure if the Cuda acceleration is working correctly.

Any tips here? Movavi, Powerdirector, and others tend to hang rendering and lag when trying to pause. They also crash. I've tried the priority settings in task manager too.

My main issue is working in Movavi at present. I'm in the middle of an edit and can't just switch software.
