Couldn't really word the title right. What I mean to say is I picked up a gigabyte ga-970a-d3 motherboard from a recycling plant the other day. It looks to be in perfect working order. I also picked up a couple of other old desktops and parts and they all work. I am looking to save some money by using this motherboard in a build soon. My question is, if it is broken and I connect parts to it will it break those other parts? Better yet is there a way to test it without connecting parts that could break? Thanks, I'm a bit of a noob in this area and am looking to learn more.
