Will changing my LAN IP in router settings get me unbanned? gaming computer builder

I dont know if this is the right place to post this so forgive me if it isnt. i got ip banned from a game server in unturned so i went into router settings and i switched the LAN IP and it got me unbanned once. im confused, does changing the LAN ip address do this or is it that my ip is dynamic and it reset when i saved the settings? another question i have is how many times can i change this lan ip address, is there a cooldown? is there a limit to how many times i can change it in a time frame?

please dont tell me i sound like a complete idiot or noob or just call me stupid with this stuff. i know and you dont need to remind me.
