Hate to be this person, wifi adapter running super slow (<1 Mb down) is there a way to fix it or should i get a new one gaming computer builder

It's an edimax AC1200 micro usb (i know, timy antenna) and it barely connects to both 3GH and 5 GH. It's ridiculously slow and on every other device with built in wifi receiver i run around 30Mb down

Yes i have the latest driver version, no it's not pointing towards the router but it didn't change anything when i did, the router is also on the opposite side of the 2 bdrm apartment. I have phone chord inlet in my wall but it doesn't fit the ethernet cable (cat5 right?)

Should i just get a new one or does an easier solution await me

If i should get a new one, i'd appreciate any suggestions
