Does anyone know a good free webcam application for desktop? gaming computer builder

hey, just wondering if anyone has recommendations for good freeware webcam applications for my built in laptop webcam. I have no software for using it at all....i dont want to get suckewred into dl'ing a crap application that dls pure spyware and crap...anyone know? thanks
