Can you get full applications onto a USB? gaming computer builder

So I have a school pc and I've been trying to move applications onto my USB from my parent's pc and use them on my school pc. It just has the installer when I try on my school computer. I thought that maybe when running the installer I needed to choose the USB to seed it in but that didn't work. Maybe I done it wrong idk. But is there any method that works to get the full applications onto the USB and not just the installer?
