afraid to log in with microsoft account on work pc, should I be? gaming computer builder

Hello. So here goes. I desperately need ''mysms'' app on my work Win8-PC, however before almost completing the instalation process I see all kinds of ''you will share this and that and this'' and even after unchecking all sharing boxes I get a messege in the end similar to ''do yu agree to make changes on this pc'' or something.

So that's what I'm afraid of, I can't just change stuff on my work pc. I'm fine if the program just installs and there's no change besides that.
