I plan on starting to buy parts to build first pc, need suggestions/opinions on what to get. On a budget and will mainly be using this build to make beats, produce some music, entertainment and maybe tap into a couple of games in the future. I really don't know much about computers aside from what I had read. I had my mind set on the i5-7500 because I would prefer to get a good cpu (less than$200) but started looking at the i5-6500 and then came across the ryzen 5 1400 and now i can't decide. I would prefer to get a decent mobo (depends on cpu of course) and was looking at the z170. I Don't know any good mobs for the ryzen 5. Im going to grab 8 gb of ram ( 4gb x2 ) and plan to upgrade to 16 later . My friend had suggested the radeon rx 460 but somebody told me to look at on board video? what the hell is on board video? I don't want to pay more than $100 for a gpu. I think that a 430w or 450 w power supply should do the trick right? pls help me out.
