Just went through 2 guides following every step and it still won't work... I set up a local area network between the two computers and have them connected via Ethernet cable. But the local network still says no internet access on my desktop.
Did I just mess up a step or something? I believe I did everything right, followed a guide to set up the local network then another guide to set my desktop to auto connect to the IP and DSP of the local network. According to the two guides it should be working now so I guess I must have messed it up somewhere.
Could it be the cable I am using? I tried using the same cable to transfer files from computer to computer but couldn't get it to work either, it looked like it was working then kept giving me crazy low transfer speeds if anything...
