Need to upgrade nine year old laptop gaming computer builder

I just benchmarked my gaming laptop my parents bought me for Christmas nine years ago.

Gaming is 11% Tree Trunk Desktop is 24% Surfboard Workstation 19% Surfboard

CPU Intel Core i7-2670QM GPU Intel HD 3000 (Mobile V1 1.1/1.2 GHz) HDD Hitachi Travelstar 5K750 750GB RAM Hynix HMT351S6CFR8C-PB 2x4GB MBD HP Pavilion dv7 Notebook PC GFX Radeon HD 6700

I'm looking to upgrade to something better. I can exceed the $500 limit if necessary.

My main uses will be running large excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint, video editing, YouTube & other general needs. Some gaming but I currently don't play any games.
