Just built my first custom PC, need some suggestions for certain programs! gaming computer builder

I want to start off by saying I feel like this isn't the best sub to post this in but I couldn't find anything else.

First, I could really use a good dedicated temperature sensor program. Second, it's been a very long time since I thought about using an antivirus since I've been a Mac user for the last 7 years, so I don't know what's the best one on the market.

I'd also love to hear any suggestions for cool/useful programs you guys use!
