help with c++ gaming computer builder

im new to coding need help with pixel coding in visual studios im trying to add (x) as a value for example

const int x = 100;

but when i try add to statement such as gfx.PutPixel(x+600,500,255,255,255); and try to build it wont work am i missing something? cheers in advance.

goal is to move multiple pixels around the window and any tips on pixel coding would be nice thankyou im new to coding and also to reddit enjoying it so far
