Cheapest solution for a media-only computer gaming computer builder

I'm looking for a very simple computer for our spare room that does nothing but stream netflix/ youtube browse the web and play downloaded shows. Was looking to pay under $200. I've looked at various solutions around reddit and found budget laptops recommended at $350, but they seem a little much for my needs and I have the perception I can get a tower for much cheaper that does the same thing. Any tips?
