Having trouble opening a file from a USB drive. gaming computer builder

Hello everyone.

I have some very important information on a USB drive that I need to submit for something. I have no used the USB drive in a couple months. There is a folder in there with some important information on it that i need to have access to. My other folders work on it, but when I click on the folder it says that the shortcut to the folder is unavailable, please make sure that the disc is properly inserted or the network resource is available and try again. The other folders work, so I don't think that it is an insertion problem. I have restarted my computer, and my other folders work, but I need to have access to this folder as soon as possible. Does anyone have any idea?

I fear that the USB drive is somehow corrupted, and I am afraid that I have lost the information. Is there anyone out there who can help me out?
