What to upgrade first? gaming computer builder

Hi, I have around $250 that I want to put into my built pc. I did a very budget build about a year ago, and its starting to slow down. 660 Ti, AMD 8230, MSI 760GM-P34 Motherboard, 8gb ram. My computer does output a ton of heat, my case is the Cougar Spike pc case, small, and not a lot of fans. My performance is ok, I can run games but cant run any of the new games even on lowest settings, I get around 55 fps. Also I have a Samsung SA350 monitor. I'm about to start working so I will have more income coming in, but what would you guys recommend I do? Thanks reddit :)
