For over 6 months, I'm having bluescreen at least once a day with my new computer (AMD FX8350, Asus GAming 970, corsaire DDR3 2x8go @1866). Today, I learned that this is due to my timing settings in my mobo that do not match the one from my memory, after verifying it was true (bios : 11-11-11-25 @1333, memory : 9-11-9-27 @1866). The guy explained that this because a tech problem between Corsair and AMD not using XMP tech by intel, or something like, if someone know what I mean, may explain it better). After, explaining this situation to someone else, he told me that this is totally normal that timing in bios are never set automatically, and anyone pro in computer would go in bios and modify FSB et memory setting after getting new ram. This statement made me speechless cause I built over 10 computers in my life, and never touched any FSB or mem timing settings and everything have always worked perfectly.
Anyone can tell me if it's true ?
