Cut & Paste File Recovery?? gaming computer builder

I cut a file from my documents folder and pasted it into an SD card.

I lost the SD card and no longer have the file on my computer. It was a .Zip file

Can I recover it since it wasn't delted or sent to the recycle bin? Where does the Cut file disappear to?
