Wireless Capabilities on a Computer gaming computer builder

So, I'm buying a laptop for an engineering program in college and I need it to be a 5GHz capable dual band wireless connection. The specs of mine are Intel® 802.11b/g/n/ac (2x2) Wi-Fi®, and I was wondering if it would work?
