Regarding Dedicated VRAM gaming computer builder

Hello /r/computers! After doing some rigorous research and lots of trial and error, I've run into an issue regarding my Graphics Card. I enjoy light to moderate gaming on my Asus Q504UA laptop, however recently I have been running into the issue of not having enough graphics processing power on more modern games. Unfortunately with the way it's designed I can't install my own, so I'm sick with an Intel HD 520 chip. I have a great CPU processor (Intel Core i5-6200) and ample RAM (12GB) but I can't seem to find out how to dedicate more of that RAM to my graphics card. Whenever I enter my system BIOS the most it allows me to allocate is 512 MB, although when I visits my desktop display settings is says I have something like 5792 total available Video RAM. So I was wondering, is there something I am missing in terms of dedicating more RAM to my graphics card? I'd really appreciate any and all help on the matter. Thanks in advance!
