My PC keeps disconnecting from the WiFi gaming computer builder

But it disconnects in a weird way. It'll work for anywhere from one second to twelve hours, and then things will stop loading. This means Steam won't connect, Edge and Chrome won't load, multiplayer games won't work, etc. But when I click on the WiFi icon in the task bar, it says it's perfectly fine. Then, after a bit, it'll say "Connected, no internet". Sometimes the little yellow warning triangle with the exclamation mark will show up, sometimes not. The only way to fix this is to disconnect it and reconnect. And again, it'll stay connected for anywhere from one second to twelve hours. If it stays connected for longer, it'll disconnect at night. The thing is that this is JUST my computer. I have VERY fast WiFi that works perfectly on everything else in the house.

The most annoying thing about this is that, when it disconnects but still thinks I have internet, Chrome freezes. The only way to unfreeze it is to disconnect and reconnect the WiFi.

I haven't dropped it or anything. This just randomly happened one day and it's gotten to the point that I've started seeking help. I've looked everywhere for help and found similar problems, but never a working answer.

Things I've tried:

  • resetting my computer

  • reinstalling my network drivers

  • the stuff with the command console

  • forgetting the network and reconnecting to it

  • uninstalling Chrome, thinking that was part of the problem

  • messing with all related Chrome settings

  • troubleshooting (it says it can't resolve two or three errors, and all it does is set it to automatically connect)

  • searching for viruses on four different programs

  • network resetting

  • power cycling my router

  • unplugging my computer and taking out the battery for an hour and then putting it back in

  • calling Windows Support (I got a robot telling me I can resolve my problem with a paid service. I'm not doing that, that's bullshit. Microsoft can't even help most of the time)

  • updating all network drivers

  • updating Windows

  • changing my DNS

  • disconnecting something else in the hope that the router was just connected to too many things at once

This has been going on for almost three weeks and I've found nothing. I can play games offline, but this is a huge issue due to me being a big Netflix and YouTube user. Please help.
