Macbook Pro missing bluetooth plist file. bluetooth not working gaming computer builder

Bluetooth wasn't working, Tried the online suggestion of deleting my 'com.apple.bluetooth.plist' file, after deleting and shutting off my computer the file didn't "replace" itself like all the forums suggested. Now my bluetooth is always unavailable and no longer appears in my preferences. Macbook pro: Mid 2009 model OS: Yosemite 10.10.5
