Help with integrated graphics? gaming computer builder

Hi,

I'm having a problem with my laptop, a Lenovo y700 14isk. The model can be found here (with a 128gb SSD). I've had it for a while but I continue to have a problem with several things:

-I have it connected to an external monitor. When playing games, and I tab out, the game crashes. (Fullscreen). This happens in CS:GO, Rainbow Six Siege, and GTAV.

-It seems to only recognize the integrated Intel graphics sometimes. Which sucks. The GPU is already crap as it is, however in games like Payday 2 I only get around 14-20 FPS. Pretty sure it should be able to run better since I can run GTAV at 30fps 720p and R6S at 1080p 60fps.
