Desktop or Laptop? gaming computer builder

Hello, I've been trying to decide what to do. I currently have 1 MacBook Pro, and 1 Windows 10 Pro Laptop. However, I love computers and would really like a desktop - but I'm not sure wether it's worth it. Please help. Thanks.
