Screen Flicker (Acer Aspire) gaming computer builder

I'm thinking it's a hardware issue. The drivers are up to date, and the refresh rate is set to 60hz which was recommended.

I called tech service and they had me push a paper clip into a small hole in the bottom for a bit. I'm not sure why but it obviously didn't do much.

Beyond that, if I lean my elbow on the laptop, the flickering stops...

Thoughts? Suggestions?

I'm likely just going to call tech support about maybe getting a replacement as I should still be under warranty.
