Hello everyone! This is my first time asking on Reddit and I'm just trying to see if I can get help on buying a PC or building one. I'm really nervous about building one and there's also many other costs that go into a build such as a copy of windows 10, the monitor, a decent keyboard, and mouse. I found a prebuilt PC by Lenovo here : https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/store/d/lenovo-ideacentre-y700-34ish-signature-edition-gaming-desktop/902dl2dj4tks/ghnt But I don't know if it's a good deal or not. I get an additional $100 off because of student discount too I believe. It also comes with a keyboard and mouse. I would have to buy a cheap monitor. I'm planning on using the PC to start PC gaming but also as my college PC. It has Lenovo's 2 year warranty as well which I believe is useful since I'm very new to all of this. Any advice would be useful and helpful and I'm willing to learn anything too. Any advice on a laptop too perhaps if that's the way to go instead of buying a desktop for college.
