[Question] Current Computer Running Very Slow gaming computer builder

Hi everyone! So I just got this computer for free from my uncle about a month ago, here are the specs:

• Manufacturer: Gateway
• Model: DX4860
• Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-2120 CPU @ 3.30GHz 3.30 GHz
• Installed memory (RAM): 6.00 GB
• System type: 64-bit Operating System, x64-based processor

Here are some of the issues:

• Whenever I go to load a picture (for example, I'll be on /r/EarthPorn) and when I click to expand the image, it loads section by section and it takes a long ass time.
• It takes FOREVER to download a file/program

basically just running very shitely.

Just wondering if it's the processor that I should be thinking about replacing, or is it the graphics card that's causing the problem? I don't know much about computers so bare with me.
