New computer, putting in old computer HDD as second drive, uninstall programs? gaming computer builder

I've got my new computer set up with an SDD as the main drive. I'm moving my old HDD into it as a second drive. Is it safe for me to uninstall all programs off it and just leave documents (ie: all the visuall C++ redistributables, microsoft wifi, windows 10 update and privacy settings etc)
