Laptop too hot in idle gaming computer builder

Heyo, so recently I my mom asked for my help, she wanted me to fix her laptop, cause it gets too hot, even though she is not using heavy tasks. I tried anything I could do, like cleaning the fan, re-applying thermal compound etc. but I can't get any better result. Does anyone of you know, how to fix this problem? (temps are around 75°c-80°c in idle until it shuts off) It's a HP G72 if that is important to you.
