I need some recommendations gaming computer builder

I need a computer for school next year and I need it to run AutoCAD but I'd also like to play some games on it. I'm kind of favoring a good laptop over a full PC just for the sake that I can take it to class and that I often spend summers away from my home. Can anyone recommend a good laptop that's <-$1500. Thanks!
