My current build is 9 years old (holy shit) and I'm upgrading in stages. I'm doing mobo, RAM and CPU now, and getting a new vid card early next year. My current vid card (HD4850) can run at 100 degrees C under heavy load. Normally I wouldn't let this continue, but seeing as the card itself is on the way out, I'm not too worried about reducing the lifespan.
Will this I be risking damage to my new motherboard if it runs at this temp?
