I should've known better than to buy from EVGA's B-Stock. Less than two years later and the GTX 970 is dead, and EVGA very politely told me to go screw myself since it's out of the ONE year warranty. I've never actually had a video card just go out like this, let alone at less than 2 years old. I even asked if they could compensate me with a discount or credit of some sort, considering the young age of the card, but nope. Nothing. It's out of warranty so they won't be lifting a finger. Say what you will about "but the warranty says" -- leaving a customer out in the cold after a single year on a $200 purchase is despicable. I won't be buying or recommending EVGA from here on out, which is saying something, as I used to see them as one of the best.
