PC boot time help gaming computer builder

Hey folks, just built my gaming PC and it takes 12sec to boot up. I currently have an SSD for the OS, would an nvme drive really do anyrhing to help speed it up? Additionally I'd say that 9/12secs is my motherboard splash screen. Any way to reduce the amount of time that shows up? I'm probably being way too crazy but regardless I need to be better than my brother :P
